    The Federal Law Forbids... (phrase) found on the back of the bottle, was required on all liquor bottles between 1935 through 1964, and was finally repealed by Congress on December 1, 1964 for liquor sold within the USA.
    Our best guess, is the single handled Greybeard Jugs with this specific label imprint were produced between 1935 - 1944 and the double handle jugs were introduced shortly after WWII through 1964, as single handle Greybeard jugs were used long before 1935 back in the Mid to Late 1800's of the 19th Century.
