  • Condition: This beautiful book is dated 1854 and shows that it has been taken care of in its book container. The cover is an imitation mother of pearl with an intricately applied metalwork with our Mother Mary and cherub angel. The blue fabric binding is intact but the fabric shows uneven ware patterns and missing fabric. The clap that moves is missing a nail. The 1st blank page is splitting from the rest of the book,and I have include picture of this. The first 4 pages are not numbered and show some slightly darkened areas along with a couple of dots.The inside cover has some pencil writing on the top. The 508 pages are in good shape. The cover top and bottom edges show some loose threads. The gold colored edges of the paper floral motif that is in good condition. Please look closely at pictures for the quality condition of this book. The accompanying book box has preserved this beautiful book, and doing so has tares on edges as seen in pictures, but still locks and structured soundly.
