  • Condition: From an estate and has been stored since the 1960's - until recently. It is in excellent condition and I note no damage. The handle is a figure that is praying and I believe it represents the Blessed Mother. The Latin wording on the bell is in the title above. The names of the animals and their symbols are shown in raised letters on a ribbon around the bell. The ladder, one of the early emblems of the crucifix, is with each animal.. Scrolling designs are above the bar; other designs separate each animal. Clapper looks original and creates a strong, beautiful sound.
