    Description

For your consideration is one 1930 medal that commemorates the 400th anniversary of the Augsburg Confession which is the primary confession of the Lutheran Church. It is approx. 2 5/8" in diameter and appears to be made of bronze metal. Around the rim it reads Martin Luther, John of Saxony, Melanchthon, June 25, 1530. In the center is 3 conjoined busts of the 3 men mentioned. The opposite side has American Lutheran Quadricentennial of the Augsburg Confession 1930 with a scene of what appears to be the Kings court in the center. Please view the pics as part of the description. I found a few of these in a tongue and groove wood box from an estate sale. The one in the pic is the one you will get. Thanks for looking. Have a great day!
