This is a Great lot of 3 RARE Antique Glass Lantern Slides with Hand Colored Views of Christian Scenes of Angels. Each slide measures 3 ¼” x 4”. They include; First Easter Dawn (B&W illustration by Thomson / slide made by TH McAllister “Manufacturing Optician” / New York City – label says it was from The Chapel of St. Augustine); Tomb of Savior w/ angel guarding the tomb’s entrance (Hand Colored Illustration / label says it was from The Chapel of St. Augustine); & Dream of Pilate’s Wife w/ Angel & Jesus (Hand Colored illustration / made by Underwood & Underwood / label says it was from The Chapel of St. Augustine. The edges of the slides have black tape by the manufacturer, to protect your fingers from any sharp edges. The slides are in Excellent condition, with almost no apparent wear.
