These are the three fastest weapons in Suzuki’s
    motocross arsenal.
    The RM gang.
Two of them, RM-125 and RM-250, have made a
shambles of their competition. And our new white-
knuckler, RM-400, is primed to shut the door on open
    class stockers.
All three screamers are quick as the
dickens. Nimble as cats. And all
are tricked with more goodies than
any bike this side of a works machine.
    To wit:
Each is powered by the most
    respected stock mill going. Suzuki’s
    race-bred Power Reed™ induction
    engine. (By improving the porting
design, we gave the RM-250 and
400 an extra shot of oomph.)
This year, all three RMs are equipped with an
    aluminum box-type swing arm, two-stage
dampening gas/oil shocks and leading-axle air
forks. In other words, a suspension system that is
as close to works as stock can get.
Other components common to these MXers
include: A conical front hub. Full floating rear
brake. Tucked-in pipe. And ding-proof plastic tank
    and fenders.
And just to make life more miserable for
other small bore bikes, the RM-125 is outfitted with
a 6-speed gearbox to better utilize the broad
    power band.
All things considered, you can bet your MX
boots that the competition will be keeping a close
watch on the RM gang this year.
That is, if anybody can get close
    enough to watch.
