HERE’S A TRIALS BIKE THAT WON’T LET YOU
FOLLOW IH THE OTHER GUYS’ FOOTSTEPS.
    THE RL-25O EXACTA.
Let the other guys do all the dab-
bing and footing. While you keep your
    feet on the pegs.
The RL-250 Exacta makes even the
toughest section look a lot smoother.
    Steep slopes, deep mud, rocky
ravines. Anything a trials course can
dish out, you can take. Standing up.
    Body english is its language.
Climb aboard and see what we
mean. The Exacta’s tank is remarkably
thin between your legs. With plenty of
    maneuvering room to convert body
    english into performance.
The RL-250 weighs in at just 199
    pounds. Thanks to an ultra-light
    chrome-moly steel tubular frame and
    polyurethane fenders.
The Exacta comes with a 21-inch
wheel up front, an 18-incher in back
and nearly a foot of ground clearance.
With seven inches of fork travel and
    5-way adjustable, oil-dampened shock
absorbers, it can take every bump on
the course. Without becoming tough to
    handle.
    Speaking of performance.
    A 250cc power plant puts out 16.6
ft./lbs. of torque at 4500 rpm. And 18
horsepower at 6000 rpm. So you can
plonk through big rocks or pull through
oozing mud. And still crack open the
throttle for plenty of top-end per-
    formance.
The Exacta’s first three gears are
set close together for cleaning tough
sections. 4th and 5th are separated by
long steps. For more speed between
    sections or for casual cowtrailing.
    Just keep rolling along.
We build the Exacta with Pointless
Electronic Ignition (PEI) that gives you
a hotter, more consistent spark and vir-
tually eliminates carbon build-up on the
    plug.
And to keep you going, an auto-
matic chain oiler. And a special chain
tensioner that won’t give you any
    slack.
    The RL-250 Exacta. It’s a bike that
makes trials riding, if you’ll pardon
the expression, as easy as falling off
    a log.
